Rise2Shine Ministries
The words ‘arise’ and ‘shine’ are the most important words of our work: making disciples who rise up to let the Light of Jesus Christ shine in the darkness of the Roma/gypsy slums near the dump of Cluj-Napoca. By bringing the Biblical message of Hope, we see that children and teenagers change and slowly start to break the circle of poverty and exclusion.
‘Arise, shine; For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you..’

Aproach
Programs
A moment of peace and acceptation in the hectic life of the children and the teenagers from the slums. The children learn Biblical principles and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ during the programs.
Dischipleship
Weekly a group of teenagers comes to our house for a Bible study, prayer, and a meal. This is a moment of peace and of personal attention.
Praktical aid
Because of the great lack in the slums, we help with clothes from our clothing depot. Sometimes we also hand out pampers, food and construction materials.
